These would work well on Dr. Cason's current challenge "A New Beginning".You could have taken those shots right here in my hometown All of those forms of seed pods are common here.
I think the seeds/fruits are the most interesting parts of a plant. Great images. They show just how much life is there even when the leaves have fallen and the branches are bare.
It's funny, the kids and I always call the sweet gum balls porcupine eggs. :)
