Wordless Wednesdays: Scenes of Autumn

I'm participating in the Thematic Photographic 23 - Autumn. Written Inc. asked for something more than pictures of leaves, but lately that’s all I’ve been snapping.

Autumn scenes in St. Louis - various trees - Sycamores, Crab Apples, Oaks and some unknown species.

Scenes of Autumn in Tennesse - Cumberland Plateau, from Cookeville to Knoxville - various trees - Crap Apple, Gingko

I love Fall. Can’t you tell.

  3. You've captured such incredible diversity in these photos. Nature really is magic, isn't it?

(I'm glad you focused on leaves, btw. These make me want to head right back to TN for another visit! With my camera, of course!)

  9. Looks like you've got a maple or two in the mix there as well. they always blow me away with the red they turn.

  10. Thanks for commenting on my WW. I know the lady you are talking about, but I forget her name too. I had a sister in jr. high and high school in 1986, so don't feel old.

I love your photos capturing the beautiful colors of the fall. Where I am, in Arkansas, our treese are pretty much naked already. They have already changed color and all the leaves have fallen. Great post!

    Happy Wordless Wednesday.

  20. Hi Danielle -- I voted for you, best wishes.
I'd say you have a bunch of pretty leaves here, lots on the trees and more soiled ones off.
Happy WW! Thank you for your visit and nice comment. I wouldn't use the MacD's delivery service if we had it as I don't ever use the pizza deliveries that we have now.

  23. I too love fall! So happy to see all your autumn photos! Our fall has fallen and all is bare and blah just waiting for that white covering to hide all the ugliness.
