This week’s
Thematic Photographic 36 - is Up – another perspective challenge - photos taken of things up above and towards the sky. This is another popular perspective for me because of trees and animals that live in them. Here are a few samples.

A very large bowl-shaped bird nest, species unknown

Unidentified tree from Forest Park (St. Louis)

A tree from my backyard (Ash, I think)

Bird Nest made with trash (I love the color of the sky in this picture)

Tree with several hollows made by Woodpeckers
The trash nest is incredible! I like the sky's color there, too. :) Very nice!
ReplyDeleteAmazing what they use to make nests! Great pictures, thanks for sharing :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog :)
I love nests!
ReplyDeleteVery cool shots as usual! I like the trash nest too!
ReplyDeleteWow! Even birds understand "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle". Why's it so hard to get that through to the higher end of the food chain?
ReplyDeleteNests always intrigue me! And it is the perfect time of year to spot them!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos!
ReplyDeleteCheck out my first birthday bash at Custom Blog Designs. There will be a blog makeover giveaway, blogging tips, and fun!
I've always been fascinating by the homes of other animals, especially birds. These great photos!
ReplyDeleteI see nests made of trash often. If I didn't know any better I would think that all nests were made with trash. I think I've been in the city too long.
ReplyDeleteGreat photo spread you have there.
I love what those guys can do! Amazing shots.
ReplyDeleteHow clever of the birds. I believe they know what's recycling all about using part of trash to build their nest! :P
ReplyDeleteVery nice shots! Thanks for stopping by my blog! You have taken some GREAT pictures!
ReplyDeleteGreat shots. That is so cool. Happy WW and thanks for stopping by:)
ReplyDeleteEven birds got different class of accomodation, depending on their creativity and resourcefulness. ;p
